Hair Care

1. WASH YOUR HAIR EVERY 2 WEEKS WITH A CLARIFYING SHAMPOO

Always detangle your extensions before washing with a wide tooth comb or a wig brush. We know that some people prefer to Co wash (only using conditioner) before installing their extensions which is fine however, just like your natural hair extensions will experience build up from oils and dirt so it is important that you shampoo so that your extensions will be clean and oil/dirt free.

2.  DEEP CONDITION

Deep Conditioning is essential. Conditioning helps with detangling, defines curl patterns and retains moisture that was stripped from shampooing. Deep condition for 15 minutes and rinse in cool water.

3.   DRYING YOUR HAIR

We recommend letting your hair air dry or sitting under a dryer for at least 1 hour so that your braids are fully dried. If your bundles haven’t been installed yet air drying is the best way to go.

4.   MINIMUM HEAT/PRODUCTS

Only use heat if you must especially for leave out installments. ALWAYS use heat protectant and refrain from heavy oils and overuse of products as it will weigh down your extensions causing them to look greasy and accumulate build up.

5.   NIGHT TIME MAINTENANCE

The best way to protect your hair at night is by using satin bonnets/scarfs. We also recommend sleeping on satin pillowcases as they help keep the moisture in your hair.
